Biking Through Grand Teton

My dad & sister Micah came up for a quick visit last weekend. We had all been planning a hike up to Table Rock. However, he was only able to come up this weekend. Which was a little problematic since there was a huge avalanche that wiped out most the trail this winter, plus the snow hasn't melted all the way yet because we got so much snow this winter, and the rivers are all huge still with the bridges covered. Micah, Mark, & I decided to forgo the hike and bike in Grand Teton instead!
We biked from Moose Junction to Jenny Lake - such a fun ride. The Tetons are right next to you the whole time and beautiful!

We had lunch at Jenny Lake and hiked around the lake for a little. We wanted to get canoes but by the time one was avaliable we had to start our biking bike, bummer. But we still had a blast.
10 Awesome Points for Jenny Lake, Grand Teton, and The Tetons!
The end of the story on Table Rock is: My dad went with a few of his cousins, and my GREAT-Uncle Lewis (who is still in his 70's and is in better shape then me, he is awesome) The went up the face trail and got up in about 3.5 hours. The decided to go down Huckelberry pass (the place where the trail was washed out, etc) It took them 7.5 hours to get down! They forged the rivers over waist high, sludged through the snow, plus it started to rain..... Micah, Mark, & I are glad we went biking :)
