Aldous & Hancock Lake

A few weeks ago Mark & I went up to the Kilgore area to hike to the most gorgeous little Alpine Lakes; Aldous & Hancock Lake.

These is the lower lake, Aldous Lake. There is a fun little trail that goes along the lake where we stopped and ate lunch on the shore.

After lunch we hiked an additional 1.5 miles to Hancock Lake. There is trail around that lake but……That’s the trail, its all covered by water still. Bummer.
