Over Martin Luther King Day Mark's mom, Jeanne, used her new sweet flight benefits from Mark's awesome job and came down for a little Vegas fun and warmth. Jana & Mike drove down from Provo also & we had a grand old time playing tourist in Vegas.
We went over to Hoover Dam to check that out and see the new suspension bridge. Mark and I hadn't seen it since it has been completed so it was fun to go check it out.
( Side Note - if anyone is going over that way, check out the Gold Stike Hot Springs Hike. It is off the heezy fun. We didn't hike it this time but a few years back I took Mark when we were visiting. Its an amazing hike that takes you down to the Colorado river right below the Dam and the Suspension Bridge)
On the Suspension Bridge - We actually drove over while we were trying to find it. :) You have no idea you are that high until you pull off and walk on the bridge walk-way. Its pretty sweet.

Dam look-out.
Hehe those jokes never get old.
The suspension bridge from Hoover Dam.

We went do to the strip and went over to the MGM to have dinner at the Rain Forest Cafe, checked on the Lions, went to the M&M World and Coca-Cola World. We then headed over to the Bellagio for the Chinese New Year flower garden exhibit, watched the water show, and then went over to check out the "volcano" at the Mirage.

It was fun to hang- out, play games, have great 60 degree weather, and see some of the sites

We also went to Red Rock and came across my favorite, wild Burros! They are so funny, I just love seeing them. This little Burro was extremely friendly
Oh my goodness, I want a wild burro! How cute!
