Christmas

Christmas is oh so fun - and these girls cheeks are to die for.

A little smily sunday selfie with Ms. Eliza
Emerson got to open up a present early because we couldn't fit it in our car. He was so excited about his new wagon from Oma and grandpa he had to go try it out in the freezing cold. He already has a lot of plans for summer fun with this.

Aunt Layne finished finals and was finally able to play again! We went sledding

It got a little chilly so Eliza and I hung out in the car for a bit
Emersons favorite part of getting all the Christmas packages was the bubble wrap, he loves this stuff
We had a great Christmas in Boise. It was filled with lots of family, food, and laughter -the best ingredients for Christmas.

We woke up to snow Christmas Eve. We asked Emerson if he wanted to go see Santa, he had been asking if he could go talk to him, and he said "no, I just want to build a snowman with Dad." This made me laugh since we have so much snow in Rexburg but he still wanted to go play in the fresh snow.

Mark dug out his old snow clothes in his moms closet from his middle school days

Emerson with his "friends" - his always calls his cousins his friends.
Christmas eve games

Opening presents from Grandma Jeanne
Eliza had to go to bed before we could all get in our Christmas jammies and set out cookies for santa
Santa came! Emerson really wanted this game called "Rattle Snake". Its a super old game from the 80's they don't even make any more. Of course his gamer Uncle Justin has it and Emerson loves it. That is all he would talk about when we asked what he wanted for Christmas. Luckily Santa, aka Mark found someone online selling their old copy we could buy.

We were so surprised at how much this girl loved her new toy

He was petty excited about his orange
She seriously loved it and played under it the whole time we opened presents.

This kid was pretty estatic about his Woody. They had already been on a lot of adventures, I came in to him saving Woody from the hot lava.
Loving life with her floor gym

Woody hasn't left his side since Christmas. He keeps reenacting scenes from Toy Story with it, putting woody on his shoulders, trying to get him to fly when the recliner pops out, singing "You got a friend in me" and its pretty adorable
