Mesa

Mark's cousin got married in Mesa, Arizona at the beginning of March. Our brother in law Mike, Jana's husband, family lives there so Jana and Mike flew down from Provo, Jeanne flew down from Boise and we flew in from Las Vegas ( Thank you Allegiant) The weather was absolutely gorgeous  - I know we are from Vegas but the Phoenix area is always about 10 to 15 degrees warmer so with it being 62 in Vegas and then 78 in Mesa was great -

Emerson was great on the flight again - hanging out with dad at the airport watching the planes come in.

Mark and I were both so surprised at how much greener Mesa was then Vegas, yes its hotter but they get more rain so its greener plus because it is warmer, it doesn't freeze like Vegas in the winter, so they can grow citrus. I loved the temple grounds with all the grapefruit and orange trees. Mark's two cousins watched Emerson for us in the visitors center so we could go to Danielle's sealing

Happy Boy at the visitors center

The reception was gorgeous and we had a great time seeing Mark's cousin Taylor and her husband and new little baby Emma.

Emerson in the grass for the first time - he didn't seem to mind it but he didn't seem to love it either.

Emerson was a trooper through the day full of wedding stuff. He did have an awesome blow out at the reception, thankfully we had a change of clothes for Emerson.... but not for Mark who was holding him :)
Emerson got to meet his great-grandma Jorgenson for the first time, she came down for the wedding from Idaho Falls.
By the end of the night this boy zonked - even with the load noises and music of the reception. We love our little travel buddy.
