Gone and Moved

We made it to Idaho a few weeks ago but we have just been busy house hunting and enjoying the great outdoors.
To add to the chaos of moving we went down to Manti for my cousins wedding the day before we left. It was a little chaotic but I'm so glad we made it to Blake's wedding! The Manti temple was just gorgeous and Collette and little D came from Boston for it.

Two handsome Gents in bow ties.

Emerson is real big into grabbing faces now...
 Entertaining the babes

We got back from the wedding, packed up our house into a Uhaul truck, put our little 91 Toyota Corolla on the back, and Mark and his brother Matt ( he flew down from Boise to help) drove away to Idaho.

He was not sure what to think of his empty room.

It was a little sad, I loved our first little house. Emerson and I stayed behind for a week to tie up lose ends. We both had doctors appointments - seriously so sad about leaving them I finally found a doctor I loved and Emerson's pediatrician was wonderful. We got have lunch dates with aunts & uncles. We visited with grandpa.

Just soaked up as much Vegas sun as possible, these boys loved playing with the hose.
Had a cousins day at The Children's Museum downtown. Water world is always Emersons favorite!

Cousin Love.... These babes were way past their nap time if you couldn't tell

And just loved playing with his cousin and causing lots of trouble :) Like stealing a whole bag of popcorn and dumping it all over. They both sat and ate until they were full and then liked to smash it with their fist - awesome. ( Is Darwin's face not hilarious in the bottom - he was very excited about the stolen treat)

The next weekend Emerson and I took our last free flight :( and flew to Boise.

Yep Boise, Mark drove over from Rexburg and picked us up from the airport. We dropped Emerson off with Grandma Jeanne and Mark and I went to the Josh Ritter concert. It was amazing!

After a day in Boise we took off for our new home, eastern Idaho. The weather has been out of this world amazing, with sunny days and glorious 80 and 90 temps. We attempted a huckleberry picking session but we were a little too late and our forging was fruitless. But we did see 2 moose! This kid loves being outside

We also went to the happening water park, Rexburg Rapids and had a blast. \

We have been staying with Heidi and Doug, which works out great and is so nice of them to let us takeover there house. Emerson is obessed with their dog and chases it around the house ALL day. We found a beautiful home on 1 acre in the Rexburg area, Hibbard to be exact and we are just waiting to close. We should be able to move in by mid-September!
