Home Sweet Home

Once upon a time we bought a house in Idaho a few months ago. We are loving it. We love the space, the views, the yard, the people, just all of it. Emerson and I just see miles and miles of trees and grass while we jog, oh and a little glimpse of our favorites, The Tetons. The house we are still working on, but we are getting there. We still have a few rooms to paint, some new landscaping, a chicken coop to build, some shutters to put on - but all in good time.

The first thing we completed was the garage, well we as in Mark :)We sealed our garage in Las Vegas and loved it so we knew we needed to do it again. Plus there was a lot of stains and other things on the garage floor. It is so easy to maintain and feels a lot cleaner.

 

Second, painting. Adios yellow. Yes all the house was yellow, like really yellow.

 

It is now a lovely calming gray, love. All the main areas and master bed/bath we painted ( the other rooms are being worked on)

(The upstairs is still in middle of being put together and decorated)

The yard we got cleaned up and is ready for winter, thanks for the help Claire and Robert! We want to change and add a few things but we will wait until spring.

Oh and we have a pasture, yeah a pasture. With cows - not ours just borrowing for some weed and grass control on the half acre pasture.

We live close to the river and like to drive over, Emerson is a fan of throwing rocks in the river. We also spot moose and deer all the time.

Oh and this is my view while I do laundry, its awesome. Way to go Idaho.
