First Halloween

For Halloween we had a party with my family at my sister Melissa's house. Lots of pumpkins, candy, chili, and adorable tricker treaters - equaling a great night.
Emerson and Mark - Halloween Party Animals

Emerson with his cousins before they went trick or treating - except the picture is blurry...

Micah's Seven Layer Dip Graveyard - she is crafty and awesome

Mark and I decided to be festive and carve some pumpkins with Emerson before Halloween. However, as fate would have it - every store in our area was out of pumpkins. Really. We drove to four stores. There were a few warty/nasty ones at Albertsons but we passed and decided to have a pumpkin carve-less Halloween.

Layne, being as awesome as she is, drove to 5 stores and called multiple others tracking down pumpkins for the party - and she succeeded. Thanks for saving Halloween Layne. Lesson learned, don't wait for the day before Halloween or Halloween to get pumpkins.

Uncle Ernie carved Emerson his first pumpkin

Next Halloween, I am going to assume, will involve much more candy eating monitoring and walking around neighborhoods with this munchkin
