First Road Trip - Salt Lake Bound

Mark's brother in law Mike graduated from BYU in April so we headed to Provo for the graduation. It was Emerson's first trip - not flying. He hates his car seat so I was real nervous about 5.5 hours of straight screaming but he did awesome. He slept some, played with his toys, watched Curious George and Daniel Tiger, played with Mom's water bottle

 We made a pit stop at the Red Barn - love their Ice Cream and fresh apple cider

 After the graduation and luncheon we headed to Pioneer park to let the kids play. We walked around by the creek felt the refreshing water

Emerson was not a fan of nice refreshing toe dipping in the creek.

We went to Bruges BeliganWaffles and Frites. Yum

Saturday was Jana's baby shower. It was adorable and we are so excited for them

After we go to meet up with some of our favorite people Nick, Emilie, and Little Cole - aka Emerson's best friend. Soo glad I got to see this little man.

 They were completely smitten with each other - okay so there was a little eye contact once but they did share a red bowl to play with.  But they are beasties.
