Las Vegas Halloween

My little sister Claire had an adorable baby a few months ago and the blessed him in Las Vegas the weekend of Halloween. Emerson and I flew down early and got to spend a whole week in the warm desert sun. This kid got his very own seat this time around now that he is two. He loved the plane ride and was beyond excited to go to "Las Begas". We landed an hour after his bedtime and by the time we landed he was done. Well bad news we had to taxi for about 20 mins before we got to the gate. Emerson kept screaming " I want to go to Las Begas!!" "I want Oma's house in Las Begas"! I kept telling him we were there but had to wait to get off the plane. Luckily everyone around us thought he was funny and were very patient with the overtired irrational two year old. He cried the whole way up about going to "Las Begas" the walk way until we walked out and he saw the slot machines and he stopped and said "Oh my Gosh mama! Look at the lights Oh my Gosh mama!" He said that over and over again until we got to the car :)

Back together again and it feels soo good. Collette and I got back from a morning run to find these two on a "walk" with Oma. Complete with breakfast on the go and sunglasses.
We had a great filled packed full of fun. First stop the Natural History Museum. Emerson loved all of the animals, especially the bears
But then we got to the dinosaurs and he wouldn't even walk by them unless my mom or I were holding him

Love this Giraffe of mine

Layne made both boys Dino tails for their birhtdays. They are adorable and Darwin loves his. Case in point, he had to wear his to lunch :)

Baby Calvin was so patient with two doting toddler cousins

We did have to intervene a little to safe Calvin from "playtime"
Nevada became a state on Halloween and is a state holiday "Nevada Day" We always had school off and work on Halloween, it was great. We also had a big parade and my dad was in it this year! We had fun watching him and my nephews Ernie and Caleb on the float.

Making Homemade pizzas on Halloween

Loved watching these boys Trick or Treat
Layne, Mark, and Ernie (the"chick magnet") went through a neighborhood "spooky house" Emerson and I waited for them in the front and when he heard Mark fake scream he got pretty upset and yelled " Don't Scare my Daddy!"
Emerson liked trick or treating but he loooved passing out candy even more. He would always yell "Happy Halloween" as people would leave, it was adorable.
My dad took all the brother in laws to a UNLV football game. Ernie and Caleb were a little bummed they wouldn't go so we packed all the babies up and went to Target for a group scavenger hunt.
Collette rolled her ankle so she rode in a super hip motorized cart.
Sparkling water break
Pictures with all the boys... Darwin and Emerson spent the entire time wrestling and Emerson Photobombed Calvin's blessing pictures.
