Adventures of Natalie & Mark: 9 Months

Cute Munchkin turned 9 Months, he just is growing so fast. This month he seems to have emerged from a little babe to a goofy little boy. He just has so much personality and loves being with people. He has been in heaven the last month because we have had so many trips and have been around family so much.Whenever we are flying he has to have people to look and talk to or he gets annoyed. So we started just lifting him up a little so he can look at the people behind us and he just talks and charms everyone. His front teeth emerged - they have a gap and its pretty cute - making his teeth count 4.

He likes to finger paint with his blackberries....

He is still not "crawling" but he gets where he wants to go by scooting and taking little leaps on his tippy toes. He just loves standing and just wants to stand and walk around, so who knows perhaps he will just walk.

He has learned to go from his stomach to the sitting position. - this is the first time he did, I came in from his nap and he was sitting waiting for me. He looks sad because he just wants me to get him out, not take pictures :)

He also figured out how to stand up on his own - It took him a few days of practice but he finally got it

We have been doing sign language with him and he knows what it all means but he never will sign back. I try to take his hands to show him but he always gets annoyed and pulls them back. He is a little independent and likes to do things by himself and his own way. He eats everything and a new favorite this month has been grapes. We also learned that he will try and eat new things and eat his veggies but only if what he really likes is not there. So we always have to offer new things and veggies first and then grapes, bread or pasta last.

He says mom and dad and knows what they mean, but says them only sometimes. When he really wants to eat or is really sad he will say mom or when he is really really happy and having fun he will call for dad. He nurses about 4 or 5 times a day and went on a little bit of a bottle strike and wouldn't take one anymore. I got him to take some from a sippy but just didn't want it. ( All this changes since my surgery and he just takes bottles but I guess that's technically an update for his "10 months")

He has the goofiest gremlin grin now and nose crinkle :)

He hates having to stay still which means changing clothes and diapers is a real treat now :)

He is just Mr. Curious and likes to go around a find little treasures in the carpet - it's awesome, not. We vacuum a lot. Pictures were difficult this time around because he would just roll over, sit up, and try to play with the camera.
