Summers in Idaho really are incredible, we spent most of our summer outside in the yard, riding bikes, going to the park, frequenting the water park and going on adventures.
I went to Girls Camp again this summer and Mark and Emerson had a fun time together. He was able to go check out the Idaho Falls temple and "Falls" and he was able to go to work with mark one day - he loved it.
Gorgeous evening sunset from our porchEmerson loved hiding in the corn
Beautiful summer evening playing the backyard with cousin Darwin
After three request to have this kid pick up his toys, I went in to check the progress...."Emerson are you cleaning your room?, silence. "Where is Emerson?" Eye peek out "umm I don't know where he is".......
He loved taking scrapes to the pig. I loved watching him from the kitchen window wander around the yard, pick a few raspberries or strawberries, check for eggs, water the pigs.
His favorite chore- cool down the pigs
Huckleberry picking. We went three times this August, first with our friends the Brubakers. Emerson loves his buddies Ellie and Nathan and thought picking huckleberries with them was the greatest. We also got to go with the Eagers and then a few days later we went with Collette, Justin, and Darwin.Emerson is a pro huckleberry picker, he is know for coming and trying to steal some from mom and dads container though
Helping make some huckleberry jam
Lunch date with my sidekick- "Mom my name is Monster Face...."
